Brewing guide
This tea is best brewed for 5-10 mins. A longer infusion releases fuller flavour and herbal benefits, but can become bitter. Try pouring a dash of cold water over the herbs before adding boiling water. This will ‘wake’ the herbs and they won’t be burnt by the hot water. Make sure the water is just below boiling point (about 95°C) to maintain the maximum benefit of the herbs. We recommend 2 teaspoons of herbs per serve (250ml).
Best sipped daily! I brew a litre teapot in the morning and carry a bottle of this tea with me to sip throughout the day.
Serves
Approximately 50-60 cups per large jar and 15-20 cups per small jar.
TIP: You can steep these herbs a couple of times to get maximum benefit from them.
